Classes at Ashoka are often linguistically diverse. Since dense academic ideas and canonical texts usually inform the syllabi, a one-size-fits-all teaching plan runs the risk of leaving some learners behind. This interactive workshop will brainstorm ideas for inclusion by way of rethinking pedagogy and engagement with a recognition of the student's existing proficiency in the English language. We encourage Teaching Fellows, Teaching Assistants, Faculty, and all others interested in teaching and learning practices to attend.
