Anushka completed her master’s in Psychology from Rutgers University with a focus in social psychology. She is a frequent research collaborator with the Behavioural Dynamics Lab where her work has explored themes of social sharing, misinformation belief, and emotional disclosure. She is keenly interested in examining questions around group polarisation and biased thinking through experimental methods. She is also passionate about making scientific research more accessible and approachable. When she’s free, Anushka enjoys watching commentary videos while picking up new hobbies– the latest of which is making miniature bookshelves. Through the YIF, Anushka seeks to combine her interest in psychological research and science communication. Presently, she plans on pursuing a doctoral program at the intersection of psychology and media.
