Senior Bio-imaging Facility Manager,

Jitender K. Verma is appointed as the Senior Bio-imaging Facility Manager at the Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University. His primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of the Bio-imaging facility, ensuring that all the equipment in the facility are functioning optimally and that researchers have access to the tools and resources they need to conduct their experiments.
In addition to managing the facility, he also provides technical support and training on high end microscopes to researchers, helping them optimize their imaging protocols and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. His expertise in microscopy and imaging techniques allows him to assist researchers in choosing the appropriate imaging method for their specific research questions and guide them through data analysis and interpretation.
He completed his PhD in Cell Biology & Biochemistry from National Institute of Immunology, India, and then went on to pursue Post-doctoral research at University of Osnabrück, Germany. He was awarded CSIR SRA Fellowship (CSIR pool Scientist scheme) and joined Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi as a Senior Research Associate. His research experience is primarily in host-pathogen interactions and intracellular trafficking pathways.
