Neerav Dwivedi

Neerav has an MPhil degree in English Literature from Delhi University, where he also taught for five years before joining Ashoka University. His research, examining some of Orhan Pamuk’s novels, looked at different ways in which object assemblages construct the literary text. In addition to conducting research writing workshops and one-on-one sessions, he teaches the Academic Bridge Programme at Ashoka. His interests include affect studies, literary theory and criticism, feminism, and the intersections between psychoanalysis and Marxism. As part of his TESOL certification from Arizona State University, he is interested in exploring genre-based ESP and developing pedagogical techniques and scaffolding frameworks that integrate language teaching and academic writing teaching with critical thinking. His engagement with pedagogical techniques and modes of assessment geared towards fostering learner inclusivity is reflected in his publications in The India Forum and Newslaundry.
